AMBERLAND is a charming, original folk musical that will take you on an escape to a small, upstate town, where Mark Howard moves away from his childhood home. When he lands a position at the local orchard and befriends Dani, a Black queer woman who’s opening a gay bar that local citizens are protesting, he must suddenly choose between his livelihood or the chosen family he’s found. ​

This new musical is from  songwriter Will Shishmanian  (Addy & Dahlia) and director/dramaturg Miss Hazel Jade (London’s The Mourning After) — with music supervisor Bryan Perri (Almost Famous, Jagged Little Pill).
